 Outdoor Pursuits

In outdoor pursuits, students experience the world beyond the classroom as they enhance skills in the areas of leadership, teamwork, resiliency, outdoor survival skills and in understanding the natural environment. Utilizing resources in the school and the community’s natural setting, activities could include hiking, camping, skiing, outdoor cooking, canoeing, etc. Given the nature of the activities, students will be frequently exposed to situations which demand a high level of initiative, maturity, responsibility and dependability.
