Students should check the school website (under Guidance) and edline regularly for information on scholarships and other graduation details as information is updated weekly. Most Scholarships will be available during the second semester. However, here are some scholarships with upcoming deadlines:
2) Union Plus Scholarship Program - Deadline: January 31st, 2013Value: range from $500-$4,000 Criteria: Applicant must be a dependent of a member of a union participating in Union Plus (if you’re unsure, ask a parent). 3) The Debut Atlantic Award for Musical Excellence - Deadline: January 31st, 2013Value: $1,000 and appear as a Special Guest at a Debut Atlantic Concert Criteria: The award is given to student who demonstrates musical talent and a commitment to the serious study of music. 5) Arts NB - Deadline: February 1st, 2013Value: unspecified Criteria: The student must be able to demonstrate artistic ability and be attending an art related program in the fall. Application: http://www.artsnb.ca
6) Kin Canada Bursary - Deadline: February 1st, 2013Value: $1000 (many available) Criteria: Student must demonstrate high ideals and qualities of citizenship Applications: http://www.bursary.ca/index.php/site/apply/#2 (Applications must be sent to Fredericton Club. 7) Terry Fox Humanitarian Award - Deadline: February 1st, 2013Value: 20 at unspecified amount Criteria: The candidate must be someone who is going to post-secondary in the fall at an accredited institution, has overcome an obstacle in their life, and has volunteered to help others in need. 8) Top 20 Under 20 - Deadline: February 1st, 2013Criteria: The student must demonstrate significant leadership, innovation, and achievement and has gone above and beyond to make the world a better place. Value: unspecified Applications found at : http://www.top20under20.ca
10) Toyota Earth Day Scholarship - Deadline: February 15th, 2013Value: 20 at $5,000 Criteria: This is for a student who is very involved with the environment and helping to make the earth a cleaner place. The applicant must also be going to post-secondary in the fall. Information: http://www.earthday.ca/scholarships
11) RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program - Deadline: February 28th, 2013Value: $4,000 per year for up to 4 years (10 awarded) Criteria: Applicant must be an aboriginal student going into a post-secondary program in the fall. Applications: http://scholarships.rbc.com/Overview.aspx
13) Co-op Atlantic-McEwen Scholarhip - Deadline: March 1st, 2013
Value: $1,000 annually
Criteria: Member or dependent of a member of a Co-op Atlantic or full time or part-time employee or dependent of a full-time employee of Co-op Atlantic.

17) Leonard Foundation Scholarship - Deadline: March 15th, 2013Value: $1,000-$1,500 Criteria: Preference will be given to sons or daughters or clergy, teachers, military personel, graduate of an engineering or mining institute. Applicants will also be evaluated on financial need. (Household income not to exceed $55,000). Applicants must also be willing to work part time during their studies. 23) Scouts of Canada Scholarship - Deadline: April 1st, 2013Value: 17 at unspecified amount Criteria: The applicant must have been a contributing member to Scouts Canada and have demonstrated leadership and community involvement in the scouting movement and outside.
