Min Ji Kim Wins the Prestigious $60,000 Schulich Leadership Award!

 

Launched in 2012, this $100 million scholarship fund provides 50 undergraduate scholarships each year, across top Canadian universities. The most promising students can pursue their dreams and become the next global pioneers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). A similar program is conducted in Israel, where an additional 50 scholarships are awarded annually. Founding philanthropist Seymour Schulich believes in supporting exceptional young minds that demonstrate great leadership and embrace STEM fields. He believes that together we are creating the next generation of technology innovators.  This program is funded by The Schulich Foundation and Co-Administered by UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.  Twenty-five scholarships, valued at $80,000 each, are designated for students pursuing an engineering degree. Twenty-five scholarships, valued at $60,000 each, are designated for students studying science, technology or math.  A total of 50 scholarships are awarded each year – 25 for engineering, and 25 for science, technology or math.  Schulich Leader Scholarships are open to all graduating high school or Cégep students across Canada who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and have an interest in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) at one of our partner universities.
