Earth Week at Simonds High runs from April 23rd to April 26th and Team Green has lots of activities planned for the week. 

1.  Starting Tuesday, April 23, we will have "Earth Trivia' read every day. Students are asked to respond to the trivia by dropping off their answers in the office. A draw will be made on Friday and the winner gets a prize.  

2.  Tuesday is Green Day to celebrate the Earth students are asked to wear Green (and gold if they like). 

3.  Outdoor Clean - Up - our bi-annual Simonds Clean Up is slated for Wednesday April 24. The rain date is April 25. Team Green members will distribute gloves and garbage bags to your classes. 

4.  Lights - Out Campaign - turn out your lights in the classroom for one hour on the same day as Simonds Clean-Up. A tally is kept of all the lights turned out and entered in the national competition.

Also, just a reminder that "Recycle My Cell" is still going on until the end of the month.  Old cell phones can be recycled in the office.
