Youth Homelessness: Tin Can Challenge

The school will be collecting Tin Cans all next week in an effort to raise awareness and help teens who are homeless in Saint John. Cans will be delivered to a local food bank but, before this, they will be used at the annual Tin Can Challenge. Each school has several students compete in a friendly challenge to see who can build the biggest and best structure out of the cans they have collected. This event is held to raise awareness of the growing problem of Youth Homelessness. Students can bring cans to their homeroom where they will be collected by volunteers. The homeroom with the most cans will win yummy muffins and donuts during homeroom period! Please help support this cause.
