​Good afternoon! Today is Wednesday, December 15 and this is a message for all GRADE 6 Raiders and their families.

As you may already know, the Province of NB has determined that all students in Kindergarten to Grade Six will begin their holiday break early. This Friday, December 17 is the last day of class for all Grade 6 Raiders. They are scheduled to return to school on Monday, January 10.

Book Fair

Our Book Fair was a huge success raising over $1500 for our classroom libraries and providing many, many Raiders with shiny new books. Thank you so much for your support and thank you to Ms. McCluskey and her team for working so hard to create a successful fair!

Covid Tests

Although you may see conflicting information on the PNB website, schools have been instructed to send home Covid test kits with all K-6 students. Gr. 6 Raiders will bring these home Friday and families are asked to regularly test their child throughout the break.

Lockdown Practice

We will be running a lockdown drill tomorrow, Thursday, December 16. Please review the attached parent information sheet to be reference should we ever find ourselves in an actual lockdown situation. Christmas Masks

We have some cheery Christmas face masks on sale for $1 each. They are available at lunch, outside the cafeteria each day.

Activities

As the Gr. 6 students will not be in attendance for our Theme Days next week, they may wear any of the themes tomorrow (Santa Hats, Elf Ears, Reindeer Antlers, Christmas Socks & Sweaters & Holiday Masks, Pajamas & Stuffed Animals, Get your Glitter on! (tinsel, sequins, glitter, garland, all things sparkly)

Friday is Raider Red & Black Day

PIZZA

There will be a limited amount of $1 pizza, $1 smoothies, and cookies 2 for $1, available for purchase for the Day A lunch students on Friday.
