Plese see below for the latest message from the Superintendant. (12:45pm, March 13)

This means that we can continue things like our ASAP schedule and drama and team practices because they only involve RVMS students. All events that would have an audience, parent or community involvment or would bring together students from different schools, are cancelled.

Message from Zoe Watson:

"The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and School Districts, in consultation with Public Health and the New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association (NBIAA), are postponing all school and District sponsored events involving students from different schools or the general public, until March 23. This would include chess tournaments, sports games, parents nights, drama productions etc.   

This measure will be reassessed as relevant information is made available. This also constitutes an additional precaution to reduce risk in our schools and communities. 

We are hearing that  media and social media  are reporting that schools are closing – this has not been made official at this time. ASD-S will communicate with you when we have updates. 

Please continue to remind students of the importance of thorough hand-washing (20 seconds), as well as coughing and sneezing etiquette.
