​Well, we have finished the read aloud of our play and watched the Hollywood version as a comparison. 

Grade 11 is now busy working on a literary essay based on the text. I have been so pleased to hear the insightful and creative ideas that you have come up with. It was wonderful to share some reading retreat time with you at the library today. I just love listening in to your self directed book talks (thaks L.W. for taking the lead on this once again). 

Grades 9 and 10​ have been given a choice writing assignment to complete based on the text. It has been interesting to see which options you have been gravitating toward. I have really enjoyed hearing the original ideas that some of you have proposed as well. I can't wait to read them all!
