​1.       Kids have Stress Too is being offered at the school in January.  This is a two night parent workshop put on by the Canadian Mental Health Association.  Parents can walk away with a toolkit of strategies to help their child deal with stress.   I have attached the poster to the email portion of this message. 

2.      The River Road Hub is starting a Hub Cyber Club afterschool on Thursdays between January 9 and May 28.  If you would like information on this, please contact greenwichrec@grmail.com

3.      Next week:

Tuesday – Home and School is offering a pancake lunch on this day.

There is no hot lunch or milk this week.

January lunch ordering is now open until December 23. 

4.       The last day of school is December 20 and it is a full day of school.

5.      We are getting a lot of calls again when students are getting picked up.  It would be better if teachers received notes in the morning. It makes for a chaotic day when messages are coming at them all the time.  We want to make sure everyone gets to where they need to be. 

6.      The concert is on Wednesday December 18 – two showings 9:00 and 12:00.  Best seats in the house tickets must be purchased by Monday morning.  I will be doing the drawing at that time. 

7.      Westfield Clothing has arrived.  All except the touques.  We did get the grade five hoodies all organized and were gave them out today.  The remainder of the clothing will go out on Monday. 

We are holding on to them ones where parents called and indicated they were presents.
