​We’ve had a great week with Author Wendy McLeod McKnight visiting to talk with the grade four and five classes about her book “The Frame Up” as well as being an author and what inspired her.  She will be at Indigo tomorrow if people would like to stop by and say hi.

 Secondly, we had our Bikes for Books draws today and it was fabulous to see the excitement of the winners.  Thank you to the York Rite Masons of Southern NB. We gave out a lot of book prizes too which were from Elementary Literacy Foundation. 

Lastly, the West Branch Library gave information on their summer programs.  Look for a brochure in your child’s bookbag.

On Sunday, the Port will be holding their annual Community Day Event.  Be sure to drop by and check out the facepainting, Rock Wall and bouncy castles in addition to much more.  The event begins at 11:00.

Monday we will be planting marigolds out in front of the school.

Reminder that on Tuesdays there is NO hot lunch and the last day for hot lunch will be Friday the 15^th.

Please make sure to return any library books to the school.

Remember we are also collecting school supply $ for the fall as well as alternate transportation forms.
