Mask Usage
While mask usage is now required in indoor public spaces in New Brunswick, the policies regarding mask usage is schools remains the same. Students, staff and visitors are required to wear masks in all common areas, and until seated in classrooms. As noted previously, students have been very good at this!
Cafeteria
Just a reminder that the cafeteria is now open each noon hour. They have an approved Operational Plan to meet all Covid-related requirements.

Just a reminder that after the Thanksgiving holiday, our A-L cohort returns to school on Tuesday. Our M-Z cohort has their next in-school day on Wednesday.

Oulton – Virtual Open House on October 6 at 6pm. Please see Guidance to register.
Acadia – Virtual Events start on October 6.
· October 6 – Acadia’s admissions process
· Book an appointment with an Enrolment Advisor. This includes on-the-spot admissions evaluation and their application fee is waived. Sign up on their website.
· November 9-14 – Open houses for students inside the Atlantic Bubble and virtual for those who prefer.
Dal - Virtual Open House Saturday, November 7th. Register at dal.ca/openhouse.
UNB – HVHS days are October 14th and 15th. Please sign up in Guidance.
St. Mary’s – Virtual Open House October 23rd. Register at smu.ca
NBCC – Virtual Open House October 29th. Register on their website, nbcc.ca
St. Thomas – Virtual Open House, November 7th at 10am.

Orders for School Photos are due into the office by October 20th. Retakes will take place on November 16 and 17.

Teachers and Parents, Students & School
WE ARE ~ a group of keen volunteers. Many of us have children enrolled at HVHS.
OUR MISSION ~ to encourage, support & strengthen the students, staff, administration, & other parents at Harbour View High School.
WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY ~ VOLUNTEERING our time, talents, ideas, fundraising skills, and creativity where needed.
HOW TO I GET INVOLVED? Everyone is WELCOME. This is a great way to connect with other parents and to be involved with the school. As a large group, we communicate by E-mail. When there is a need, we will put out a call to everyone and organize a response.
There is a place for you to be involved in as much or as little as you are able!
