Do you need help with creating a resume?

 
Joanna Duplessie Zhao,  Certified Resume Strategist & Coordinator of The Career Center located at Simonds High School, will be offering two upcoming workshops to assist students with their resumes.  Students should prepare in advance of this session by creating an initial draft and saving it to their student account or by bringing it in on a USB for review.  Interested students must sign up in the Guidance Center.
 
Two workshops will be held:
 
          ·        Wednesday, April 24th during extended homeroom period 8:55-9:35 a.m. Computer Lab #217
          ·        Wednesday, May 15th during extended homeroom period 8:55-9:35 a.m. Computer Lab #217
 
 
 
       
       Horizon Health Volunteer Program- Deadline for Applications June 1st.
 
      Are you 15 years of age and older  and looking for a volunteer opportunity?  Drop by the Guidance Department today to pick up an information package regarding volunteer opportunities with Horizon Health.  Deadline to apply is June 1st.
