Congratulations to our Field Hockey team, players and coaches, for becoming provincial champions last weekend!  This is a wonderful accomplishment.
We have had a wonderful start to the athletic year – with teams making provincials in Baseball, Softball, Golf, and Field Hockey….as well as individual athletes competing in provincial cross country.

Ski and Snowboard Club
Our Ski and Snowboard Club is checking the weather for snow! This activity is for students interested in participating in Ski or Snowboard at Poley Mountain. This runs for 6 weeks in January and February. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information!

Sunshine Café/Breakfast Program
For the month of November we are looking for donations of fresh fruit (apples and bananas) as well as whole grain bagels and light cream cheese.  This food helps to feed our students while at school – and also allows us to send home food with those who may not have the means of purchasing healthy food on their own.
Thank you so much for your support in October – the number of donations exceeded our expectations and were put to good use!

Forensic Anthropologist
Professor Moira McLaughlin (aka The Bones Lady) from St. Thomas University visited Harbour View’s Forensic Science class today to discuss forensic anthropology.  She has been doing forensic anthropology work in the Maritime Provinces since 1984, beginning with the "Garbage Bag Murders" in the Saint John area.
