The Viking Rowing team had an incredible day on Saturday. On Saturday we won 6 Gold Metals out of a possible 11. Every one of our rowers won at least 1 Gold Medal. Louise Sennett who was coxswain in two races and rowed in three won a total of five gold metals.

Novice women's 8
Under 19 women's 8
Under 17 women's 8
Under 19 women's 4
Under 19 men's 8

Two of the last races had our boat in second place with 200 metres to go and both times the crew reached deep and pulled with everything they had and passed the first  place boat to win. Very exciting races.

All of us on the team want to thank all of those who came out to cheer us on. A large number of teachers made the day even a better day for our team.
