In April...Believe It and You Will See It

Public Service Announcement:
We 6 believe that if we commit to a goal we will ultimately find it because we’re more likely to strive for the results we desire – even in the face of naysayer’s and obstacles.  A conscious effort to “believe it and then see it” can help us recognize the positive aspects in even the most impossible situations, no matter how small and seemingly insignificant.

Suggested Whole School Events/Activities:
  • Encourage celebration of Earth Day on Sunday, April 22nd or plan to Celebrate it on another day.  Suggested activity would be that the school encourage and participate in a clean up activity around the school and community, start a recycling initiative if your school doesn’t already do this or celebrate by planting a tree.
  • Have the youth organize a Youth Environmental Concerns Forum with the purpose being for the youth to dialogue with the leaders in the community regarding their concerns about the environment
