Suggested Whole School Events/Activities:
  • Have a career day and invite local professionals and trade persons in to speak to students. 
  • Participate in Random Acts of Kindness.  (Document found in Additional Resources or online at www.randomactsofkindness.org).
  • Give out positive tickets to people caught doing something right.
Classroom Activities:
  • Have students choose a person seen as enthusiastic and devise an interview to explore the basis of that person’s attitude. Share the interviews with classmates.
  • Have students research a particular trade or profession, interview an individual from that trade or profession and present to the class.
