​Good afternoon, Raiders! Today is Sunday, January 23 and this is a message for all Raiders and their families.

1. Learning from Home continues this week, Jan 24-28. Learning Packets will be e-mailed by Homeroom Teachers on Monday (by noon) and will also be available for pick-up at the school on Mon, Jan 24 from 1-3 and Tues, Jan 25 from 9-12.

2. Students are reminded that there are very strict rules about online behaviour when participating in online learning. We expect the same behaviour, respect and language that would be present if you were in the classroom. This is not the same as when you are online chatting with friends. Failure to behave appropriately online, will result in a suspension of your NBSS student account.

3. All staff can be reached via e-mail and all staff e-mail addresses are posted on our website under the “About Us” tab in the navigation bar.

4. The province now has a new process for identifying cases of Covid in schools. Each school district now has a Covid dashboard on their website. This will list the schools that have a positive case (of student(s) or staff) in their building. The site will be updated daily at 5:00 pm.

Schools will no contact families regarding close contact to a case at school. There are guidelines posted on the ASD-S Covid Dashboard and I have included them as attachments to this message.
