RVMS in Orange Phase

Good evening Raider Families! I apologize for the lateness of this message. We have just completed a meeting with all Principals in the District.

Public Health assures us that it is safe to proceed with regular classes in the morning.

Before you send your child, please note the following:

1. All students must wear a mask on the bus, even when sitting with a sibling.

2. Students will be wearing their masks much more during the day. Please make sure they arrive wearing a mask and have a spare mask with them at all times.

3. Students & Staff will wear a mask at all times, on the bus, outside and inside the building. The only time there are no masks required are when Raiders are eating, or when they are in P.E. class.

4. There will be no access to the cafeteria in Orange Phase. That means no access to microwaves. Please pack lunches accordingly.

We realize that some families may choose to keep their children home. Please logon to School Messenger and make a note of this, marking your student OI (Other Informed Absence).

Please be advised that schools are open, and teachers are required to teach live in the classroom. Teachers will not be providing work for families who choose to keep their children home.

Some teachers may choose to post some work on TEAMS but are not required to do so.

I know this is a stressful and difficult time for all of us. We can all support each other if we follow the guidelines from Public Health both at school, and once we leave school at the end of the day.

If you have any questions, as always, you can contact me at Trudy.McGrath@nbed.nb.ca or by calling the school.

I am looking forward to seeing my Raiders tomorrow morning!
