6-3 Social Studies Continuation of learning for the week of April 6-10

​​6.1.1 Explore the concept of culture and demostrate an understanding of its role in their lives.

Students can identify factors that shape culture

​- Students learn that "Beliefs and Values" can shape a culture. They will now take some time to reflect on what is important for them. Attached is a document with 10 questions connected to their values that they can answer.

- Students have also learn that a group can express their culture with stories, music, signing, poems, paintings, dancing, clothing, art, decorations, etc. Attached are 2 research questions on that subject that students can do.
