​Students are wokring on various activities with rocks and minerals. Those activities include classifying minerals, focusing on specific vocabulary, knowing the 3 types of rock. The three types of rock are explained in the worksheets below. This is great review. 

Also, students are working on various science projects. I am unable to attached their list of choices but recalling from memory here were some of them:

• Create a children's book explaining the three types of rocks.
• Write a song explaining the three types of rocks
• Make a cake, demonstrating all the layers of the earth. Label it and bring it to school. 
• Create a poster explaining difference between rocks and minerals. There were a host of others. Students would have the handout in their science notebooks.
