GRADS are reminded to go to the reception desk during break to get your height measured for your grad gown.  All measurements need to be done by the end of this week.

Happy Pink Shirt Day!  Back in 2007, two high schoolers, David and Travis, organized the first pink shirt day after they saw Travis, a male ninth grade student get bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. Now, this a day for us to stand with Travis and all other victims of bullying. 1 out of 4 kids is affected by bullying and stats show that usually the first time isn't the last time. The pandemic has shown us that kindness is as important as ever, so let's all stand up against bullying and lift each other up instead.

In the cafeteria at lunchtime today there is an anti -bullying pledge that we hope everyone will add their signature to. There will be pink post-its to sign to stick on the pledge. Please come down at lunchtime to show your support for this important issue.

This is the last week to collect any spare change for our local food bank.  Over the next few days, put a loonie, twoonie or any change in the collection envelope to help out members of our community in need.  Teachers are asked to put the envelope in Mrs. Calder’s mailbox by the end of the day Thursday.  Your SSG appreciates your support!!
