  ATTENTION GRADS: St. Marys University will have a general information session for future students tomorrow starting at 7pm. It will last roughly an hour and there will be a chance for some question and answers at the end. All who register will get their application fee waived. Link to Register is on the grad TEAMS page.


There will be a representative from NBCC here in person today to give a presentation / answer any questions for future students. Presentation will be held in Ms. Waycott's room, room 202 starting at the beginning of AI. Please sign up prior to coming to the presentation. Sheet is posted outside of Guidance on whiteboard.


On Thursday, October 21st, there will be a representative from St. Thomas University here in person to speak to any future students during AI In Ms. Waycott's room. Sign-up sheet is posted on whiteboard outside Guidance Office.


Basketball try-outs for both boys and girls start tomorrow, Oct 20th.  The schedule for all teams try-outs is posted on the gym bulletin board.


Anyone who is interested in joining GSA please meet in room 202 at lunch today, you MUST have proof of vaccination to attend. Please bring this with you.”


 Boys Hockey tryouts will be on Wednesday from 6:50-9:00. 


"Class of 2022:  Reminder that today is a collection day for the grad class fundraiser.  Please bring your tickets and money to period 1 or see Ms. White in room 304.   There is only one more week to sell your calendars for the last collection day on Tuesday, October 26th.  Grads who do not fundraise will pay $160 for their grad fee."


 School Picture Re-Takes will be Thursday morning, October 21st.


 Attention to any grads interested in pursuing a career in medicine. The Rural Outreach & Mentorship Initiative is matching interested high school students with Canadian medical students to discuss pathways to medicine, the application process and provide general guidance through one-on-one mentoring. You would meet once a month via zoom. Sign Up link is on the grad team's page. 


There will be an SSG meeting today during noon hour beginning at 11:50 in room 306.


 Do you aspire to push the envelope of space travel?  Are you interested in engineering rockets from scratch?  Well, SSHS Space is your place to be. The first meeting will take place Wednesday at lunch in room #303 with Mr. Huys between 11:40 and 12:00.   This Club gives the opportunity to design and launch rockets, launch weather balloons and to learn about the universe.  Join SSHS Space, it's not rocket science.
