​Grade 8 in the cafeteria this week and it is the last week for cafeteria service. No meals will be served next week, everyone will eat in their classrooms and everyone will need to pack a lunch!

Another reminder about bikes on school property. There is too much traffic and someone is going to get hurt if you continue to ride your bikes. You must walk your bike until you reach the road or the back path. You should not ride it across the crosswalks, it is dangerous. Please walk your bike and when you do ride, drive slowly.

Wellness:

The Wellness Centre is CLOSED today at lunch, Mr. Stu is not here today.

Music:

Would you like to be an announcer in the talent show next Wednesday? If so, please sign up outside of the Music room.  

This is a reminder Singing Club students and Band students that we will be performing at Chris Saunders tomorrow after lunch.

Art:

All members of the Art & Poster Clubs are reminded that you will be having your year-end ‘Arty Party’ afterschool tomorrow.  Be sure to have your drive home arranged for pick-up at 4:00, and please dress to be outside if the weather permits.

Sports:

Track and Field athletes, please return your jerseys ASAP!

Other:

Library books: There are still 26 books that need to be returned to the library. You have until tomorrow to return them, if not returned, a $5.00 fee to replace the book will be applied. Students who do not return the book or pay the replacement fee will not be permitted to attend field trips or the end of year dance.   

PRIDE Passes:  A grade 7 student was helpful and a grade 6 student cleaned up bugs for his teacher! That is certainly worthy of a Pride Pass!!! My kind of guy!!!

Yearbooks – The yearbooks have been shipped and are on their way to us! Online sales have closed but there are about 20 copies available for cash sales. Please see Mme Spinks with $35 to order your copy. Yearbooks will be distributed to students next week. A special signing party and viewing of the slide show is planned for grade 8 classes on Tuesday morning.​
