Wellness:

During our Let’s Freeze Out the Hurt campaign we’re reflecting on a daily thought to help us better understand kindness and respect. Today’s thought is this: Surround yourself only with people who will take you higher. Choosing to spend your time with people who share your values of kindness is an incredibly important decision.

Music:

A reminder to Senior Band members of your extra practice today after school. It ends at 4:15. 

Sports:

JV and Varsity Volleyball Teams – As soon as it is washed, please return your clean jersey to the office. Varsity Girls, please give your jersey to Mr. Long.

Track and field tryouts continue tomorrow from 3-4:30pm. The tryout will be for all running events and will take place on the field.

PRIDE Passes: Thanking two grade 6 students this morning, the first for being kind to others and doing his best, the second for helping around the classroom.

Wednesday, May 28 is Red Shirt Day in support of National Accessibility Week. It’s a national awareness day launched by Easter Seals, to encourage people to wear red in support of accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.  Wearing red in schools and workplaces on this day creates a visible display of solidarity for an accessible and inclusive society. Please wear red on Wednesday, class points will be awarded for participation.
