A couple of
reminders: It has been reported that students are turning off the lights in
bathrooms as they pass by, please respect your classmates! That’s not a kind
thing to do and as we talk about Freezing Out the Hurt this month, that’s not
very representative of the message we are trying to send.
Grade 6
assessments today –
Students from Harris, Lamey, Page and Sankey who missed the assessment on
Tuesday should go to the library after break at the beginning of P2 this
morning. Students from Cyr, Dunham, Dow and Gallant will do their rewrite in
the library after lunch, at the beginning of P4.

stands in the times of challenge and controversy.

Field - Shot put and discus tryouts will be held today after school 3- 4:30 pm.

Other:
Library – This Friday, May 23rd, will be the last day to check
books out from the library. All books must be returned by June 6th.
WWE Fans! The group will be meeting in Mrs.
Page’s classroom during the second half of lunch. All are welcome.
The Pokémon Club will meet during
second half of lunch in M. Le Clair's room. If you are a fan of Pokémon, stop
in and check it out!

boy was cited for active participation in Math and a grade 8 boy was helpful.

Bottle Drive –Student
volunteers are needed to hold signs and to place the donations in the
trailer. Please pick up a permission form from the office if you are
interested. Bottle Drive on Saturday May 24th from 9 am to noon at
the corner of Hampton Road and the Arterial, where the Smokin’ Pig and Driving
Range used to be!

Grade 8 students are reminded to send Mme Spinks ONE toddler / pre-school
age photo of each of you to be used in the year end, Grade 8 Slide Show. Please
send ONE digital photo to shawna.spinks@nbed.nb.ca
before Friday, May 23rd. Please include your name as you wish it to
appear on the slide and please watch for a reply. If you do not receive an
email reply, the photo was not received. About 100 photos received so far, about
75 left to come in! Let’s go grade 8! 😊
