with our Let’s Freeze Out the Hurt at QMS campaign, here is your thought for

Music:
If any Senior
Band member DOES NOT have a QMS Band shirt, please see Ms. Rattray in the
Music room. Also, for Senior Band members, a reminder that you have a band
prep tomorrow in period 3 in addition to your regular after school practice.
Attention Beginner
Band Members: You have after school band practice today. It ends
at 4:30pm.
Art:
The Art
Room will be closed during the second half of lunch this week.
Sports:
JV and
Varsity Boys Volleyball Teams – As soon as it is washed, please return your clean jersey
to the office. Varsity Girls, please give your jersey to Mr. Long.
Flag
Football – There
will be a meeting first half of lunch today for all boys playing flag football.
Track and
Field - Long jump and high jump tryouts will be held today after school 3- 4:30 pm in the
gym. Shot put and discus tryouts will be held Thursday after school 3-
4:30 pm.
The Girls'
Softball team will have a practice tomorrow from 3-4 pm.
Other:
There will
be a quick meeting for Regional Heritage Fair participants at break
today in Mme. McLean's portable. She has some swag for you.
Library – This Friday, May 23rd, will be the last day to check
books out from the library. All books must be returned by June 6th.
The Dungeons
and Dragons Club will be meeting today during the second half of lunch in
Room 106, Mrs. Lord’s classroom. All are welcome.
PRIDE
Passes: A grade 6
student is very helpful and kind, a grade 8 student was very focused in class.
QMS
Bottle Drive –Student
volunteers are needed to hold signs and to place the donations in the
trailer. Please pick up a permission form from the office if you are
interested. Bottle Drive on Saturday May 24th from 9 am to noon at
the corner of Hampton Road and the Arterial, where the Smokin’ Pig and Driving
Range used to be!

be on sale, be sure to preorder before they sell out.
Grade 8 students are reminded to send Mme Spinks ONE toddler / pre-school
age photo of each of you to be used in the year end, Grade 8 Slide Show. Please
send ONE digital photo to shawna.spinks@nbed.nb.ca
before Friday, May 23rd. Please include your name as you wish it to
appear on the slide and please watch for a reply. If you do not receive an
email reply, the photo was not received. About 100 photos received so far, about
75 left to come in! Let’s go grade 8! 😊
