Music:

Those Beginner Band students who still have a few more instruments to try out are invited for a band prep in period 5. Please ask permission from your period 5 teacher before coming to the Music room. This should not take the entire period. 

There is Beginning Band today after school.  You will get to find out what instrument you will be playing this year!  This will end at 4:30pm.

Art:

Permission forms are now available for students interested in joining the Art & Poster Club.  Please pick up you forms from Mrs. Stoddart in the art room. This week, students should simply be completing their permission forms. ‘Art & Poster Club’ meetings NEXT week.

The Varsity Girls Soccer team will practice Friday from 3pm - 4:30pm.

Varsity Boys Soccer – The team is asked to meet in the gym today at 3:15, be sure to have your forms with you. The practice will run 3:30 -5.

JV Girls soccer tryouts Thursday 3 – 4:30 and Friday 4:30 – 6.

The next Cross Country meet will be tomorrow in Saint John at 3:30. Running shirts will be provided.  All levels of runners are welcome.

Badminton Club, runs until 4:30 pm today and tomorrow.

Grade 7 intramurals in the gym during the second half of lunch today.

Those interested in learning more about Leadership are asked to come to a meeting in Mrs. Miller’s class, room 102, Thursday at 11:50. Please bring your lunch, application forms will be available.

The Dungeons and Dragons Club will be meeting for the first time today during the second half of lunch in Room 106, Mrs. Lord’s classroom. All are welcome, bring your dice if you have them!

Any students who received Health Care Forms from Mrs. Spinks, please return them to the office asap!

Our first dance is scheduled for next Thursday, Sept 26^th from 6:30 to 8:30. Neon Night Dance Tickets are now on sale on Cashless Schools. $5 for entrance only, $7 for entrance and a slice of cheese pizza, $9 for entrance and 2 slices of cheese pizza. Deadline to purchase tickets is Tuesday, Sept 24^th.

Breakfast Program - We are pleased to announce that our Breakfast Bowl and Grab and Go programs are up and running for the school year. Bowls will be delivered Monday and Wednesday morning to homerooms. Could teachers kindly assign a student to return empty bowls to the BIM room before end of lunch on those days.    Grab and go breakfast will be served out of the BIM room, Mr. Miller's room on Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 8:00-8:20 am. Students are asked to wait outside of the school close to the bike rack. Please do not block the art room door. You will enter the building, get a quick bite and place garbage in the garbage can. A Cougar Pride thank you to those students and staff members who will be assisting with this initiative.
