Sports:

Attention Varsity Girls basketball players, there will be a team meeting today during second half of lunch in Mme Cusack’s room.

The Varsity Boys Basketball team will practice from 3-4:30pm.

 In intramural action - 8 LeClair and 8 Hanson have the gym from 12:10-12:30.

Music:

A reminder of grade 7 and 8 band will meet today after school until 4:20.

Singing Club is on hold until after Christmas.

From the Art Room:

QMS Variety Show – ANY students interested in having their artwork featured in the QMS Variety Show are invited to stop by the art room to sign up and have their work photographed. Please note that this is the final week to submit artwork. 

Other:

Last day for online orders in the Cafeteria will be Friday, Dec. 17^th. Refunds will be given for any students who had orders in for next week.  

Cafeteria is open today for grade 8s during the second half of lunch as a quiet place to be.

Friday is the last day before Christmas for our grade 6 students. We will have a PJ day on Friday for class points. We’ll also do another trivia day that morning.

Students are reminded that there is to be no grabbing of hats, etc. while outside. Doing so is not keeping your hands / feet to yourself. 

Coming into the school in the morning and after lunch– students on the top floor should be entering through the portable end doors and students on the bottom floor will be entering through the main doors.

Washrooms – We have noticed an increase in washroom vandalism. Students, boys and girls, are plugging the toilets with toilet paper and paper towel, throwing full rolls into the bowls and the urinals. Throwing wet paper towel wads at the walls. We are finding feminine hygiene products in the toilets. The pads and tampons that are in the washrooms are there for you to use properly if you need them, they are not to be thrown in the toilets. Show your manners, do not disrespect and create more for Ms. Mattina and Mr. Logan, our hard-working custodians by vandalizing the washrooms.
