Sports:

Attention varsity boys soccer team, the meeting today has been cancelled - you will have a practice on Friday (tomorrow) from 3:00-4:30 pm…practice will start in the gym and then move to the field. 

Cross country will continue today at lunch. The first race of the season is this Saturday. Please let Mrs. Belcourt know by Friday if you will be attending, the registration fee is covered in your athletic fee. Payment for cross country will be done online through cashless schools starting on Monday. 

The Varsity girls soccer team will run tryouts today from 3:00-4:30pm and again tomorrow from 4:30-6:00pm (times to be confirmed).

QMS is in need of a JV boys soccer coach, please contact the school if you are interested. 

Art:

The Art room will be open each day during the second half of lunch for classes currently taking art. 

Tech:

The Tech room will be open second half for all those interested in coming. Masks must be worn.

Other:

It’s time to get the Class Competition started! Team names are to be sent to Mme Spinks by Friday at noon. If you send in your name on time, you will receive your first points of the competition. We will be having a school pride day on Friday, all staff and students are encouraged to wear their school logo clothing or burgundy and gold on Friday. Class points will be awarded according to the percentage of students participating. 

For lockers…a reminder that you should only be going to your locker when you arrive in the morning to gather your materials for Periods 1, 2 & 3; next visit will be before lunch; after lunch you will collect your items for Period 4; before Period 5 (at the 5 minute break), you gather your Period 5 books and lunch boxes ready to take home at end of day.  You do not return to your locker at end of day.

Students are reminded to wear a mask on the bus and into school and keep them on at all times, except when participating in PhysEd and/or eating.   You must have a spare mask in your backpack.  The office has a limited supply.  If you have no mask you will be required to contact home to have two delivered to you.

Reminder to those attending Open Gym in the morning, you must bring your indoor sneakers and you must Wait for the duty teacher to allow you to enter the building.

Reminder of student fees that are payable on SchoolCash.  Students should get their student number from their homeroom teacher.  Cougar Swag is now on the SchoolCash site.
