December 14
December 14th 2020

Hot Lunch ordering opened last Thursday, December 10th and will close Sunday December 20th at midnight. If you wish your child to have milk and hot lunch for the month of January orders must be done before the 20th. As a reminder there is no Hot Lunch on this Friday Dec 18th which is the last FULL day of school before the Holiday Season.

Today, Monday Dec 14th is the last day we are accepting gift for the Boys and Girls Club. We have certainly collected a lot of items and I know the Club will be very appreciative of our Generosity. Way to Go Lakefield. You never disappoint.

During this last week of school, we will have themes each day of the week. We hope all students will be able to participate in these spirit lifting activities.
Monday Dec 14 - Christmas Clothing!  Wear your Christmas sweaters, socks etc...
Tuesday Dec 15 - Tree Topper Day!  Wear Christmas hair, hat, headband, homemade topper etc....
Wednesday Dec 16 - Christmas Plaid!  Wear as much plaid as you can!!
Thursday Dec 17 - PJ Day!!  Wear your Pjs to school. Pancake Breakfast!!
Friday Dec 18 - Shine Bright like a light!  Wear anything sparkly, anything that lights up!!

This Thursday, Dec 17th we will be hosting our school wide breakfast when the students arrive at 8am. Teachers and staff will be flipping pancakes in their classrooms this year early in the morning getting ready to feed all their students. If your child has allergies, please prepare them breakfast at home and send it with them. Also, all students will need to bring in a plastic plate and cutlery. (paper if you do not want it to come back home). Please send these items in a zip lock bag, if you want them returned, as they will be coming home sticky and dirty as we will not be washing the 380 plates. LOL. PJ’s will be the attire for this event.
From everyone at Lakefield Elementary we wish everyone a Joyous Holiday Season filled with traditions and memories for a lifetime.
