HES Talkmail to Families September 11, 2022
Greetings Hampton Elementary School Families,
We have had a great first week
of school here at HES! We would like to thank our students for their
exceptional behaviour and hard work! Our students have been working on
our new Hawk’s Honour Code this week which they have co-constructed with our
staff. All our actions and behaviour at school are related to our four Hawk’s
Honour Code values.

Traffic Notes
• For students who are driven to school by family/friends (students who
don’t take the bus): We invite you to drop off and pick up at the rink parking
lot, the same as it has been done for the past 2 years to avoid congestion on
School Street.
• If dropping off your children at HES in the morning, please proceed
just beyond the pilons and please do not turn in to the playground to drop off
children. If you must pick up your children after school, please park in the
spaces adjacent to the playground.
• Please drop students off after 7:50am.
•
Passing a school bus when the red lights are
flashing is a serious offense and may result in a substantial fine. Please
remember the speed limit on School Street is 20 kilometers
