Good afternoon Hawk families. This is a message from Mrs. Blanchard, Principal at Hampton Elementary School with your weekly edition of the H.E.S. Hawk Squawk.
Our final week of skating is here. We start the week with skating for 3Schofield and 2Aubin-Martin. The last day is April 1st and that’s no joke! Stay tuned for exciting news about scheduling SWIMMING for our classes in May and June!
 
This week we started seeing ducks in the soccer field which is always a sign of Spring. As some of you know, each year for the last 6 years a mother duck has taken refuge in our inner school courtyard to lay eggs and hatch her ducklings. Unfortunately, last year the nest was attacked by some nasty crows because the children were not here to keep them away. Since the courtyard has no exit for ducklings, we are required to escort them out through the school using the students as a giant chained barrier! 
 
Our Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home on Wednesday. This represents the assessment of learning from November 28-March 19. Parent teacher meetings will occur virtually once again and are scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, April 13th and the morning of April 14th. Schools will be closed on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5th as the recognition of Good Friday and Easter Monday.
