This project sees elementary school students engage in a one-day waste audit of the school. The goal of this project is to identify the type and amount of waste produced at the school to create a baseline inventory. The goal of creating a baseline inventory is to know where the school is today, and then have students set measurable, realistic and site-specific waste reduction targets."
