A few updates for FMS today.
 
Firstly, our Cafeteria Menu is ready and is attached to this email, attached to our fms.nbed.nb.ca webpage and there are copies in the office for students who wish to pick up a paper copy. 
 
Please note that Chartwells is offering a Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, October 5 in the cafeteria. This turkey dinner includes dressing, veggies and dessert for $7.  For this meal only, we are asking students to pre-order just the week before. Starting tomorrow and until next Tuesday, September. 27th, pre-orders for the October 5th Thanksgiving dinner will be taken in the cafeteria with the daily pre-orders.  That will be the only meal option available that day in the cafeteria.
 
Boys' soccer team will have practice tomorrow, Friday, September 23rd from 5:30 to 7:00.
 
We will be sending out details very soon with students about our school-wide fundraiser this year. We will be selling locally grown poinsettias! We look forward to your support by either purchasing a poinsettia, encouraging your child to sell them to friends and relatives and spreading the word to others who may wish to support our campaign as well as have their poinsettia ready for pick-up the first week of December. The monies raised go toward student activities at FMS. More details to follow!
 
Northern Carleton Minor Basketball Registration for students in grade K - 6 starts this weekend. Registration times are: Saturday from 9 - 11 at Carleton North High School, next Saturday, Oct. 1st from 9 - 12 and Monday, Oct. 3rd from 5 - 8 PM at the Northern Carleton Civic Centre.
 
Students are looking forward to tonight's dance. The doors open at 7:00 pm and pick-up is for 9:00 pm please. The fee is a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation or a small package of plastic cutlery.  Please enter the driveway on the McCain side and exit the bridge side for drop-off and pick-up.
