Twenty-Six BRES students attended the District Chess tournament on March 16th held at CCS. Our school was well represented. Attached is a list of first, second and third place winners.

We also had six of our BRES students attend the Provincial Chess Tournament in Woodstock on Saturday, April 8th. There were over 300 students present. It was  great learning experience for all involved.

I want to thank all of the chess club member for their dedication and hard work this year. Chess club is now finished for the year. However, continue to practice as we will be starting back up again in September.

I also want to thank the parents for supporting your children's interest in chess.
