MERRY CHRISTMAS
*  There will not be any assigned homework for the next two weeks. However, this week good fit books will be sent home.  Please encourage your child to read over the holidays (daily if possible) and read to them.
*   Work on Raz Kids
*   This would be a great time to practice concepts your child is struggling with…
  • sight words
  • sound teams
  • printing
Numbers to 20:
  • Can they write them with no reversals?
  • Can they identify all numbers to 20?
  • Can they count forwards and back from different starting points?
  • Word problems-I have 5 and you have 9….how many more do you have? I need 10 points to win this game but I only have 4…how many more points do I need? etc.
*  Please check communication bags nightly for additional notices.
*  We are missing a few class books.  Please look at home for them.
*   Please return any overdue library books
Reminders/Important Dates:
Christmas Concert - We will be holding two performances on Tuesday, December 11th at 9:00 & 11:00 a.m
*Dec.13-Christmas dinner for students.( Tickets had to be bought by Dec.4).If your child is not ordering Xmas dinner they must bring a packed lunch as only Xmas dinner will be offered in the cafeteria.
*  Last day for the cafeteria is Friday, December 14th.   Your child needs to bring a lunch the following week.
*  The last day of school is Friday, December 21  and it will be a full day.
*  Students return to school on Tuesday, January 8th.
*  Thank you for your support.
