Nighthawk of the Month - March 2017

Austin Estey

This award is presented in recognition of your attention to detail in the shop. You watch demonstrations and listen to instructions very well. This allows you to transfer knowledge in a productive manner and complete work in the shop at a high level. You are always eager to learn new skills and you ask good questions to further your skill set. In addition, you are always cooperative and friendly in conversations making you a pleasure to teach. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017.

Brooke Boonstoppel

This award is presented in recognition of your leadership and academic excellence at Nackawic High School. You are a member of our Student Leadership Executive, acting as co-chair of the communications committee. You kept the student body up-to-date on all activities of the school through delivering video announcements. Last month, you helped plan a noon hour party in the Resource and Methods workroom, so that the activities planned by student leadership were truly inclusive of the entire Nackawic High School community. You are also an excellent student, excelling in all of your courses. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017.

 

Cassidy Wilson

This award is presented in recognition of your work ethic and involvement at Nackawic High School. You are real calming force for your excitable peers. You are very focused on your work and influence others in the class to do the same. The quality of your work is excellent. You have also been involved in Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Reach for the Top, Student Leadership Group and Best Buddies at NHS this year. In addition, you have volunteered to work with the Nackawic Middle School team this year at practices. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017.

Lindsay Graham

This award is presented in recognition of your involvement at Nackawic High School. Only a Grade 9 student, you have already shown you will be a highly involved student at NHS and one who contributes greatly to the positive climate of the school. You are a member of the Student Leadership Group and have been reliable and helpful with school wide activities. You have also been a key member of our Drama Club this year. Your audition was very strong, and you landed one of the larger roles in the play. You are also a member of the Reach for the Top team. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017. 

Mackenzie Van Wagoner

This award is presented in recognition of your determination at Nackawic High School. You attack every class with such determination that you will always accomplish the task at hand. You are always willing to keep working until the job is done and you look to improve on past efforts and experiences. You are always eager to help another classmate and you take a genuine interest in everything outdoors. And who can ignore the determination you have shown in mastering riding a unicycle! You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017.

Tanisha Christie

This award is presented in recognition of your positive influence on others at Nackawic High School. As both a member of the student leadership group, and as an addition to any classroom, you are consistently a mature, reasonable and reliable voice. You are respected by all of your peers, as you seem to get along easily with anyone. You make whatever space you occupy a safer, kinder and calmer place. You have also been integral to making the Theatre Arts class a wonderfully inclusive space for all the students. Finally, you have become a leader on the NHS Girls Rugby team this spring. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for March, 2017.
