Bailey Moorcroft – Nighthawk of the Month for Leadership and Citizenship

This award is presented in recognition of your leadership and citizenship at NHS. You have stepped up to be one of the leaders for the boys’ basketball team. You help out at each practice showing the other players drills, practicing skills with them, and encouraging them along the way. On the court, you are supportive and respectful, encouraging teammates to try their best, and praising them for their hard work and great play. You are an amazing asset to the team. Your great attitude is also noticed in the community as you were seen assisting two older ladies by carrying their groceries to their car at the Independent Grocer when you saw help was needed. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for December, 2017

Emilia MacFarlane – Nighthawk of the Month for Leadership

This award is presented in recognition of your leadership at NHS. You are involved in many areas of Nackawic High School culture. You have a strong leadership capability that allows you to be involved in a variety of activities and still maintain high academic standards. Some of your involvement at NHS includes: Best Buddies, Rock band, Student Leadership Group, Unified Basketball, and many varsity sports. Your dedication and contribution to NHS is remarkable, and the school benefits from your efforts. You are a role model to all students. Ethan Clark - Nighthawk of the Month for Academic Achievement and Citizenship             

This award is presented in recognition of your academic achievement and citizenship at NHS. You are always on time with your assignments and perform well in your courses, especially French. Your behavior in class is consistently exemplary. You are very serious about your education. You are always helpful, pleasant and kind to your classmates and teachers. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for December, 2017.

Mackayla Roden – Nighthawk of the Month for Dedication and Citizenship

This award is presented in recognition of your dedication and citizenship at Nackawic High School. You are a wonderful citizen in our school. You are friendly and considerate of others, often showing kindness to classmates by ensuring everyone feels included. You come to class with a positive attitude each day and treat everyone with respect. You are a compassionate student which is evidenced in how you treat others in class and around the building. You work hard in your classes. You can be depended on to get things done. You will also volunteer to stay after class to get the work done as needed in Culinary Tech class.
