Good Afternoon, Creeker Families!
The days are getting longer and the sun is shinning longer but the groundhogs are split on their winter decision! Hope you are still enjoying the winter days and staying safe on those sometimes icy roads.
Some items to keep you in the know:
Impetigo - we have had some cases of impetigo in a couple of classrooms. This is a contagious skin infection that starts out as a rash of blisters ( usually around the nose, mouth and other parts of the face) that will burst with fluid. This does require medication and 24 hours before the student returns to school. Please see the link for more information. Thank you for your attention to this health safety matter.
Spelling Bee - many of our students participated in this on Tuesday. Way to go, Creekers!! We are happy to say that Tasheni ( 5 Leblanc) and Nick ( 4Arntsen) will be moving on to the Regionals in Saint John on February 25th. Thank you to our organizers, participants and audience for making this happen!
Creeker Parent Perception Monkey Survey - If you have not yet done so, please complete this Monkey Survey so that we can get your views on our school! One should be done for each child if possible.
Fluoride Mouthrinse Program - We will be starting our mouthrinse program this month for grades 1-5 probably the week of February 20th. This will take place once a week, first thing in the morning. Mary Ellen Breneol and Marcia Versloot will be helping with this - thanks, ladies! We will be sending out a permission letter this coming week. Attached, is a pamphlet to help you make an informed decision.
