Memo to Garden Creek Parents  & Guardians

Hello Creeker Families!
 
As we move into the month of February, I have a few items for you.
 
1) Spelling Bee - this is TOMORROW at noon  ( not today) as TNB needed more time to dismantle than previously thought. You are welcome to come and watch if your child is participating.
 
2) Creeker Parent Perception Monkey Survey - I am sending that today via a link. If you could please complete it, it will give us more information on how we can improve learning and growing for our students. Please complete this in the next week if possible. 3) PSSC meeting - this Tuesday at 6:30 pm
 
4) STEAM Registration - you can now register your child for STEAM. More information was send in a previous email but if you need more info,  please see this link. http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/ASD-W/steam/Pages/default.aspx     
 
Also, we are working with a parent volunteer who will soon start an enrichment hour with some students who would benefit from this support.
 
Other dates to be aware of :
 
Thursday, February 2 - Chinese New Year Celebration lunch! (order forms have gone home and are due Jan. 25) 
 
Friday, February 3Deadline of Hot Lunch payments –Great Canadian Bagel to start on Thursday, February 9th.
 
Friday, Feb 10 – EYE-Da Screening – 2nd round for new 2017 Kindergarten registration
 
Thursday , Feb 16– 100th Day of School
 
Friday, February 17th - Movie Night at the Creek - details to follow
 
Wednesday, February 22nd - Pink Shirt Day
 
Friday, February 24th - Professional Learning Day for Staff - no school
