Creeker Memo #4

Happy Monday, Creeker Families! Here are some reminders for the week.

  • Tuesday, September 28th
    • The 1st Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) meeting is taking place virtually at 6:30pm
  • Wednesday, September 29th
  • Thursday, September 30th
    • School Cash closes for Student Fees. Any families requiring financial assistance can contact our school office 453-5409.
    • Orange Shirt Day & Truth and Reconciliation Day
      • This Day is a very important one for our students, our staff, and our community. We plan on hosting a whole-school virtual assembly where we will discuss the importance of the day, share stories, and highlight some important values associated with the day.
      • While it is our full intent to keep the contents of our discussion very much age-appropriate, there is a chance that curiosities may be triggered, and further dialogue is needed. We encourage families to think about how an appropriate conversation may continue at home.
  • Friday, October 1st
    • Creeker Colors Day!!!!!
      • All staff and students are encouraged to wear Green and Yellow to celebrate our first School Spirit Theme Day!
      • We encourage families to tweet @Gardencreekers with the hashtag #CreekerSpirit any pictures of their children sporting Green and Yellow!

Other items

  • October 5th (Tuesday) – School Pictures are being taken
  • Music Upgrades: Our school is hoping to make some upgrades with music equipment. Monetary Donations are welcome. Please contact alex.yaychuk@nbed.nb.ca if interested in supporting!
