​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Well here we are.. the end of the day  of a very different  school year . I wish to thank all our parents and volunteers for your support and understanding as we navigated covid protocols, changes in routines  and a new way of virtually meeting.  I appreciate  the conversations and suggestions you  brought our way through our survey and TEAMS meetings.  The staff looks forward to another year of learning and fun in the coming Fall and anticipate  that we will be going back to a regular routine. As mentioned, Alex Yaychuk will be the incoming Principal for the next school year, along with Mme. Robichaud as Vice-Principal. I  I have been honoured to be a part of the Creeker Community over the past 5 years and am so proud of the work and learning of our students and staff.

For those families moving on to other schools or cities, we wish you all the best!   We hope that all our families have a wonderful summer!  More information regarding the new school year will be coming your way in August.

Thank you – thank you to the Home and School and PSSC for their beautiful parting gifts. The flowers were gorgeous and the painting of the school will be cherished. Very appreciated!

Home and School/ PSSC Year- End Report – A huge thank you goes out to our Home and School and PSSC Committees! Our school would not be what it is without the dedication and volunteer hours that our parents put into supporting our students and staff. Please see the attachment on all the great events, fundraising and goals they have achieved and future plans!

 Achievement Reports –  Achievement reports  went out today. If for some reason you cannot pick up your child’s report card by next Tuesday, the 29^th, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will mail it to you.  The achievement reports will also contain the supply list for the following year ( and it will be posted on the website) .

Library Books and other School Resources  –please check around your house for any books or resources that may belong to the school and send them in  this coming week.

FALL RETURN … Tuesday September 7^th  for all except Kindergarten, who will have a staggered entry. More to come on this to them.
