​Garden Creek Families, 

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to the 2016-2017 school year!  Our staff is eager to meet our new students and those returning to Garden Creek. They have been working hard to make the start of the year special and welcoming for all. I can't wait to meet both our students and families and learn how each of your children will "shine" this year :)  They are all unique children with wonderful gifts and talents! 

 For our students returning to Garden Creek, it is a time filled with anticipation and excitement as they prepare to reacquaint themselves with friends, to develop new friendships, and to enter the next grade level.  For students new to our school we welcome you into our caring learning community.  Our school is known for having supportive families as well as engaged community partners.  I am looking forward to continuing the collaboration in current and future initiatives, as well as lead our students to be 21^st century learners and global citizens.

Inevitably, the excitement and bustle of school opening in September will give way to more comfortable and established routines as we progress through the fall months and beyond.  We will continue to maintain the vision of our students developing the skills to become enthusiastic lifelong learners and caring active citizens of their communities.  This is our core purpose as a caring and compassionate school and it is reflected through our dedicated staff who work with our students and families every day of the year.

Please note the following information: the first day back is this Tuesday, September 6th. Teachers will meet the students on the field at 8:15 a.m. and will be holding a sign designating their grade levels. Please let your child know to go that sign and the teachers will ensure they are in the proper class.
