The last week before March Break is upon us and that means Winterlude fun! It will be a little more subdued this year, considering covid, but will still be fun for our students and staff. That being said, there will still be lots of learning going on as well!

Winterlude – please see the attachment for the activities taking place. Dress up days specifically are:  Monday – PJs       Tuesday- Rainbow Colours     Wednesday – Pink Shirt Day        Thursday – Creeker Colours or Creeker Clothing             Friday – Sports Day                There will be other fun and learning such as a Read Aloud and Bingo during announcements  as well as time to slide on the hill and have a championship game of Rock/ Paper/ Scissors!

100 Day Food Drive – donations specific to the class asks are still welcome all week long. Let’s get to 100!

Social Emotional Learning – We will begin working on Positive Post-its : kind interactions are the way to grow! How do we practice this?

PSSC  Meeting  this Tuesday Night – a reminder of our meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 pm on TEAMS. Any parents who want to take part in the meeting are welcome to send me an email and I will send you an invite!  One item on the agenda will be further  discussing steps in getting our fields drained properly.

Hot Lunch – Due to the storm day, we are adding on another bagel hot lunch on March 16 . We are considering new hot lunch options going forward.

Home and School Gift Card Basket Fundraiser – Later in March, the Home and School will hold a gift card basket raffle. Essentially, parents will be asked to send in gift cards , tickets will be sold on Cashless ( $2 each) and a draw for the baskets will take place at the end of March. More to come but the dates are below .

Wed Mar 17 – Tickets for spring basket fundraiser goes live on Cashless

Fri Mar 19 – No School – staff working on report cards  and Professional Learning in the afternoon / “Bookings”  for interviews going out at 11 am

Tues Mar 23 – PSSC meeting 6:30 pm on TEAMS

Mon Mar 29 – Last day to buy tickets for gift card raffle

Tues Mar 30 – Raffle Draw today !

Wed Mar 31 – Report cards are issued
