​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

We are moving into our last week before the Christmas break – it is  incredible  how  time moves along ! I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I know it is going to be a different one from some of us and definitely around the globe. On behalf of our staff, we wish you health, kindness and love in the year to come.  

Thank you! – A tremendous thank you goes out to our Home and School members for setting up our Virtual Creeker Bazaar fun for all over the past month – from the  Chapter’s Fundraiser, the Scott’s Nursery Christmas decorations, the beautiful theme baskets, the incredible Silent Auction and our Creeker Bazaar fun for our students  still to come…. THANK YOU! Our school is so fortunate to have caring parents and extended family and friends to support our Creeker community for organizing events and financially supporting us!  😊

Angel Tree Thank you –A huge thank you to all of our friends who supported other Creekers during this season. I know it will be very appreciated and make Christmas merrier for many.  Thank you to Madame Cairns and Vansnick for organizing this.

Week Ahead

Bazaar Fun for Students  - this week there are some fun events for students:

Monday –wear red and green or a Christmas sweater ( there will also be another treat for all students!)

Tuesday –students making decorations😊

Wednesday –Mystery Read aloud guest reading a Christmas book  and students receiving hot chocolate and cookies courtesy of Tim Horton’s. ( cookies are free of dairy, eggs, nuts and gluten).

Thursday –K-2 colouring of Christmas scenes and 3-5 creating Christmas scenes

Friday –PJ day and a Christmas movie!  ( plus a guest!!)       

Other Dates

Friday Last Day of school before the holidays!  Full day!

December 21 –  January 3– Christmas Holidays!

January 4 –First Day back to school
