This is it! Week 1!! Welcome back to all and welcome to our new students! Our staff can’t wait to see our students this week and help you learn and grow!

Attached, is our family memo. You will receive these on a weekly basis to keep you in the know. You should also expect one on a weekly basis from your child’s teacher as we move through the year.

Other than the memo, I would like to point out a couple of items:

1. Drop Offs and Dismissals – we ask for your patience in the coming week as we work through this with all. The volume of drop offs is expected to be higher than normal and as such, I am asking for your patience. This will take some time and we ask for your understanding and following of our protocols as outlined in previous memos and our handbook.  

1. Bussing – The first couple of days in any given year, bussing may have some hiccups; this year  might be a bit more so. Please know that Transportation has worked extremely hard on these  schedules and routes to ensure your child’s safety and their efficiency. Please consult the bus times given to through the District website and know that they may be off by a few minutes in the first couple of days.  If the bus will be significantly late, we will contact parents through text, email or a phone call.   ** IF YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD’S BUS NUMBER AND HAVE NOT LET THE SCHOOL KNOW, PLEASE DO SO. ( either through an email to the teacher or the office) . We are putting together bus lists at the school level.

1. ADJUSTMENTS – we will be adjusting our protocols as we go depending on the needs of our school and guidelines from the Department and District. Thank you in advance for your support.

1. Extreme Allergies – please read the section in our memo on extreme allergies. We are a nut free school and egg free depending on the classroom. If your child has an extreme allergy, please advise the school immediately.
