​Good afternoon, Creeker Parents and Guardians, 

We are inching closer to the beginning of the school year and hope you are taking advantage of the last few weeks of summer fun before we head back. 

I have a few updates for you to get you started: 

School Hours and Transportation: 

Our school hours as far as bussing and drop offs and pick ups are very close to what we had in the past:  

7:40 - 8:10 - Busses and parents can drop students off 

8:15 - School entry 

1:50 - K-2 student dismissal and bus pick up 

3:05 - 3-5 student dismissal and bus pick up 

*Wednesday dismissal and bus pick up is 12:05 for all students 

If you have not had a chance to let District Transportation know your intentions as far as opting out of bussing, you can contact the District Transportation line to do so. 

Also, the week before school begins, homeroom teachers will contact parents to welcome them to their classrooms as well as have you complete a form with some transportation questions ( bus number, after school care etc) so that we can have a smooth of a  start and finish to our first school day ( and rest of the school year)  as possible. We understand that you may not have that info right away but hope you can help us out as soon after we send the form. 

Garden Creek Operational Plan - we are working on the GC operational plan and will be sending that out after it has been approved by District. It will be very comprehensive and will take into account many documents that have been provided to us around safety protocols re Covid.  

Items that Students Will Need:  part of the plan is that parents will ensure that students will have clean masks for each school day. You can also send hand sanitizer for your child, although each classroom will have a sanitizer station.  A water bottle will also be necessary as water fountains will now be equipped with filling stations rather than the traditional fountain. 

Staggered Entry - a reminder that we will have a staggered entry for the first 2 days of school. Teachers will let you know in that welcome email which day your child should come to school. Although I mentioned that we would do this alphabetically, we also need to even the groups out for each day.
