Divorce Care Group -  Mrs. Sypher, our Guidance teacher, will be starting a divorce care group for students whom parents feel may benefit from this. Please see the attachment. divorce care.docx

Southside School Spirit Reds Hockey – This Friday is the game! UNB vs DAL . Parents can buy their half price tickets at the Aitken centre and pick up free tickets for their children. New this yearThe first 20 elementary students to arrive at the AUC game-night will each receive (for them only): 1) Invite to the post-game team visit  2) UNB REDS t-shirt  Doors to the game open at 6PM.

Frozen Noes and Toes! On Saturday, February 1^st as part of the Fredericton Marathon’s Frozen Nose & Toes Race weekend there will be a Superhero Run for students aged 3-12. Creeker Interest Groups – Back by popular demand, we will be having interest groups  the last week of February , called “ WEEK OF WONDER!” . Students will have the opportunity to sign up for an activity that interests them and a teacher leader will spend time with that group everyday that week  on that topic. The first phase of preparation was getting ideas from students to instill more student choice and voice in our school! The team has been meeting to look at these ideas so that we can prepare to present the choices to the students. More to come as we move forward.

Fri Jan 31 – Earth Rangers Presentation 1 – 2 pm / movie night! Movie to be announced.  Doors open 6:15, movie at 6:30 pm

Mon Feb 3 –Grade 2 F to Greener Village 9 – 10:45 am, Grade 5 S to Greener Village 12:45 – 2:30 /  Grades 3-5 Girls’ coding club after school
