​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

This is it – the last week before Christmas break! We have a lot going on, especially our concert tomorrow that our students and staff have been busily preparing.

Christmas Concert –     Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our concert at 9 and 12. Please try to stay for the duration of the concert as all students will be performing for the last song and it is beautiful!

-          We will be collecting donations at the entrance of the gym  for both the food bank ( non-perishable food items) or monetary donations for CBC Feed a Family and Creekers Helping Creekers. Thank you for your support as always.

-          Choir: if students are in  grades 3-5 choir, they are asked to wear black and white

-          If you plan on taking your child home after the 12 pm concert, please check in with the office and sign your child out as per normal

Hot Lunch – there is NO hot lunch this week. Please provide a lunch unless your child’s teacher has told you otherwise.

Girls’ Coding Club and Lego Robotics – this will take place again in the new year as an after school program. Details to come

Milk and Cookies treat this Wednesday – Thank you to the Home and School who are providing milk and cookies (or alternatives)  as a treat to our students!

Mon Dec 16 – Christmas Concert Rehearsal – all students needed!

Tues Dec. 17 – Garden Creek Christmas Concert 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM

Wed Dec 18 – Multi age Christmas Centers in K-2 and 3-5    and Milk and Cookies treat!

Thurs Dec. 19 – Storm date for Christmas concert / Last day for milk/ Grade 3-5 choir performing at Shannex from 10:30 – 11:30 am / Turkey Dinner for grades 3-5

Fri Dec 20 -  Last day before holidays!  Sing-Along 11:00 AM  

In the New Year!

Tues Jan 7 – First day back for students/ milk program begins ( and containers go home)/ pizza hot lunch

Thurs Jan 9 – Chartwell’s hot lunch

Tues Jan 14 – grade 4 FI to Quatermain Earth Science 9 – 11:30 AM /
