​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good afternoon, Creeker Families:

We have 2 weeks to go to the holidays – still lots of learning taking place with a little Christmas cheer thrown in through our concert, some center fun and other goodies. This week, the students will be finishing up their practices for the concert in preparation for Tuesday December 17^th!  HO HO HO!

Icy Roads and Driveway this Morning – so you are aware, this morning,  we  placed a call to our snowplow contractor, asking him to come and place sand down before students arrived. He was not here in a timely manner. This was unacceptable for both student and overall Creeker community safety. We followed up with a conversation with him and also contacted District in hopes for change for the future. Thank you for sharing your concerns and your support.

Chapter’s Night – Thank you to Amanda Williams and Hannah Steeves-Carney for raising $1130 through our well attended Chapter’s Night! The choir was beautiful ( thank you to the students , Mrs. McGregor and Mr. Briden) and the evening was well attended.  Bravo!

Did you Know??  This week, students composted 17.5 lbs of waste. Way to go! We have another class that has joined us in the trial, which brings us up to 12 classes.

Milk Orders and Container Recycling –  Milk orders for term 2 are live today on Cashless Schools until December 13^th. As previously mentioned, we plan on sending the containers home  beginning after Christmas in hopes that they will be recycled in your home bins.   

Lego Robotics – A reminder that this is now finished for the term.

Fri Dec 20 -  Last day before holidays!  Sing-Along 10:30 AM

Tues Jan 7 – First day back for students/ milk program begins ( and containers go home)/ pizza hot lunch
