Good morning Creeker Families,
Instead of an attachment, I am writing you in a simple email format:
Did I tell you that I am still in wonder at the $16000 + that was raised at our Bazaar??! Awesome! Those monies will go toward Wellness and Technology for our students. Thank you!
I hope your interviews went well. I was happy to meet with many of you in the hallways and with the teachers. Please remember to keep those lines of communication open and to contact us ( starting with the teacher and then Admin) whenever issues arise.
Chapter's Night this Tuesday!! A reminder to come out to Chapter's between 6 and 9 pm on Tuesday night. 10% of the sales will go to our school! Remember that the choirs will be singing at 6:30 pm!
Spelling Bee - Today, Mr. Slack and I met with any students in grades K-5 who were interested in being part of a Creeker Spelling Bee. It will be open to all interested students in K-5 and practices will be on Mondays and possibly another day at recess. Students will be given a list of study words, word activities and general information regarding the spelling bee. All participants are encouraged to practice their spelling words at home. The school’s spelling bee will be on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM in gym (storm date Monday, January 30, 2017). This is part of the Scripps National Spelling program.Please see the attachment for details. You will receive a letter later this week if your child was interested.
UNB Hockey Game this Friday - a reminder to please pick up your tickets for the game on Friday night if you are planning on attending. Please read the attachment with reminders.
Welcome to K is postponed! - We will wait until later in the year for this but will be sending info out to you. See you at the EYE-DA assessments on December 9th.
